British Model and Actress Samira Mohamed Ali will be the new ambassador for MAYA Swimwear in Europe and Asia as the US based company plans to expand their operations into these new markets by the end of 2017. The curvaceous former Miss Europe winner will join a host of top celebrities that currently wear the exclusive brand such as Jennifer Aniston, Vanessa Minnillo, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, Kristin Cavallari, Fergie, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Marissa Miller, Lindsay Lohan, Kimberly Stewart, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough, Doutzen Kroes, Fergie, Brandi Glanville, among others.

Maya’s first collection was introduced in the United States in 2001 and is the brainchild of third generation Argentine designer Carolina Dinardi. “My design combines glamour, style, and femininity, without losing freedom. Meaning “illusion” in Sanskrit, MAYA was the perfect name for owner and designer, Carolina Dinardi’s dream of creating a Swimwear Collection entirely designed to flatter a woman’s body. Maya Swimsuits are a departure from both the more conservative American cuts and the tiny Brazilian cuts, combining practicality with South American sensuality creating this original Argentinian cut, sensual but not fully revealing. Welsh production company Tanabi Films, who produced ‘By Any Name’ movie based on the no.1 best-selling novel by Katherine John has made the third round official selection stage from a plethora of entries at this year’s prestigious Action on Film Festival. AOF is now in its 12^th year and has become one of the fastest growing festivals in the US attracting entries from all around the world. This will be the first US screening of the film and will be held in the famous Krikorian Theater in Monrovia, CA along with another 60 films.

The Director of ‘By Any Name’ Euros Jones-Evans said, “We are extremely proud to be working with Del Watson and the whole team at AOF 2016. We had incredible support from all our local partners in Wales and the recent screening here and we look forward to seeing how the movie is received in the US for the first time. We are extremely grateful to all the cast and crew, especially the leading male Cengiz Dervis, who plays ‘John West’ and Samira Mohamed Ali who plays ‘Dr Elizabeth Santer’ in the film for their dedication and hard work and to make this project happen as an independent film.”

‘By Any Name’ was nominated at this year’s CBFF 2016 and qualified to enter BAFTA Wales competition in 2017 and is a recent acquisition of CEO Marie Adler of Hollywood’s Adler’s Adler & Associates Entertainment, Inc. A&AE.
